This is an Elemental Ceremonial Staff. The crystals on top represent Earth, the feather represents Air, the shell represents Water, and the bottom of the staff was held in a campfire, to represent, wait for it...Fire.
Loved the shape of the wood to begin with, then, once I removed the bark, I discovered it had been on the ground long enough that it has worm holes on it.
This is powerful shamanic tool for use in ceremony and ritual. Or, for hiking, as hiking is its own ceremony.
